Allan R. Goldstein, CPA, CIA, CFSA
Managing Director

Allan has over 40 years experience of providing risk advisory, corporate governance and internal and external audit services to the banking and insurance industry and a wide variety of other commercial companies, including the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Global Atlantic Partners Allan was the Managing Director in charge of KPMG’s Risk Advisory Services practice in Bermuda. He also served as KPMG’s Banking Services National Industry Account Leader for Internal Audit Services from 1999 through 2002.

Allan served as Chairman of the Internal Auditing Standards Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) for the last 2 years and currently serves on the IIA’s Committee on Quality. He has held several prominent positions with the IIA, including serving on the its Board of Directors, Vision for the Future Steering Committee, Guidance Task Force, Professional Issues Committee and as Chair of the Emerging Issues Action Group. While in the Public Accounting sector, Allan served as one of his firm’s representatives to the AICPA’s Auditing Standards Executive Committee.

Allan pioneered the development of enterprise wide risk management concepts while serving as the Chief Audit Executive at BankBoston. He has also served as the Chief Audit Executive for Meritor Financial Group and for Manufacturer Hanover Corporation’s operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Most recently, his clients have included several global insurance and reinsurance start ups subject to the provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley, and publicly traded on the NYSE and NASDAQ..
